Move: In Progress is the Tees Valley’s only dedicated scratch performance platform for dance, a space to share and shape dance performance

Join us for MoveUP 2025 Showcase, an evening celebrating young talentShowcasing and celebrating young choreographers from Darlington and the wider Tees Valley, this show gives young people a chance to share their creativity and dance choreography on the spectacular stage at Darlington Hippodrome. MoveUP, delivered by TeesDance in partnership with Darlington Hippodrome, is a FREE young choreographers programme for dancers aged 13 19, or up to 25 with disabilities. The 8month programme takes young dancers through a collaborative approach with professional artists in one of the regions finest theatres to develop choreographic skills and make new artistic works of high quality. Join us for the evening to see the final pieces that have been created by local young choreographers. This project is funded by Arts Council England and Tees Valley Combined Authority, delivered in partnership with Darlington Hippodrome, and supported by Creative Darlington and Darlington Borough Council.
